And so the fun begins...

Florida absentee votes missing...

Man, does this get the ol' conspiracy theories churning away...

Speculation -

How many of these missing voting papers have already been lodged?

Who filled them out?

Who are the votes for?

Time will tell.

Afterthought-

Why is it Florida that has these problems?

Florida is a southern state with distinct urban and rural areas. The urban areas have all the troubles of most huge cities. The rural areas have the same troubles as the other southern rural areas. Worse, many people migrate to Florida because of the warm weather. (It's hard to be a lazy person in up-state New York in winter.)

All of this adds up to a large number of people who should be tested before being allowed to vote. (I actually recommend that ALL Americans be tested before being given the rights of full citizenship.)

We tried that. Do you remember the Jim Crow laws?
